I led UI design for the Control App to clearly and intuitively present accurate data in the field. Using Figma, I empowered the Leupold product team in wire-framing and design from start to finish of the app launch.
Phase 1
The challenge to this design system was providing enough range in typographic size without creating too much variation and overwhelming the average person. I deliberately designed in dark mode to emit the lowest level light reflection (to aide in dawn and dusk hunting).
Phase 2
Phase 2 took the app to a new level, and gave professional guides and competitive shooters sensor based ballistics, weather, and wind data. A stand out feature was the widget homepage, which allowed customized home screens for quick reference.
Once again, I used Figma to lead the UI team in navigating complex visual data for: movable widgets, customized ballistic data fields, scrollable wind, and range charts.
