On the surface marketing and branding are visual queues used to command perception. But to me, a brand is deeper than that. Branding is a conversation about a company’s voice and vision. It speaks across every medium and touch-point enabling audiences to understand who you are and what you stand for. In a crowded and noisey world vying for attention, a brand that conveys clarity can change the game.
Inspired by Good Design.
I got into advertising and design because of a fascination with Charles and Ray Eames bent wood post-war furniture. I loved their curiosity and belief that modern technology could be both functional and beautiful. I also found their optimism about the future to be inspiring. To this day, whenever I sit in one of their fiberglass chair designs I feel better. Regardless of what field you are in, I think that’s what it’s all about: embracing what’s new and discovering ways to evolve.
